One Day of the World© by Nadmid Sergelen: An Epic and Everlasting Journey through the Wonders of Humankind and Mother Nature
In December 2022, the President of Mongolia conferred Professor Sergelen as the "Distinguished Artist", the highest honor of the Mongolian State.
About the Artist
Nadmid SERGELEN, Leading Cultural Artist, Government of Mongolia Member of the Mongolian Union of Artists, Professor of Arts
Professor Nadmid SERGELEN is a professional artist, and tenured professor at the School of Fine Arts, the University of Culture and Arts of Mongolia. He graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Arts (Surikov) in the 1980’s. During his career, he has done a number of unique projects including the famous Portrait of Mongol Khans, collectible editions comprising of 67 portraits of historic figures. The historic Turquoise Grand Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia was completed by Sergelen in 2002. Through his career Professor Sergelen worked as the president of the School (college) of Fine Arts, and lead the National Arts department for many years.
